IP forwarding or Virtual IP?

is there a router command that you could supply that would send traffic to a different IP address?
i have many users setup to use IP printing to Jetdirect boxes. i am going to change the ip's and would like to have as little downtime as possible. could a cisco router translate if a user is specifying the old address to send to the new address? i have searched cisco's site with no luck.

Not if they are on the same interface. What you could do, is assign a secondary address to the router interface with both the new and old addresses. This way, you can change all the PC's IP addresses and they can still get to the printer at the old address, until you get around to changing one printer at a time to the new addresses.
