Integrating different MFC projects

Hai,

I have a team memebr of a VC project. We are done the project in different parts(as different work spaces). Now we have to integrate the project.

When integrating(copying the resources and adds all class files) the project the some of the control ID is changed. ie the ID i give nto a control like 'IDC_BTN_SOME', but it is changed like 1034. What is the probelm. Any one can help me?

Also what is right method to integrate different projetcs

1) The right method to integrate projects is not to integrate them (keep them as different dynamic-link libraries).

2) There is no problem in moving classes from one project to another. The problem is dialog templates. The following way may help to move dialog template from project A to project B:
- open project B in Visual Studio ans select Resources tab
- open file A.rc in the same Visual Studio instance using File-Open command (use Open As  Automatic)
- having two resource files opened in the same Visual Studio version you can move resources between them using Copy-Paste or Drag-and-Drop.
