Annoying address pop-up problem

A friend had a while ago a virus on his computer.  This virus was received by an email in outlook 2002.  We have removed the virus from the computer and everything works back as normal.  The only annoying problem he still has is: when you start to type the name or email address in outlook 2002 to send a message, outlook 2002 pull down a list with all your email addresses that verify the data you entered.  After you enter four or five letters, you usual can hit enter to select the address.  Now is in the list an email address that was received with the virus.  This address is for 90% the same as an address in his address book.  So, when he starts to type the address of his friend, outlook 2002 give a drop-down list with two addresses.  The correct one, but also the one from the virus.  How can we get lost of the annoying address of that virus?  I search all the files on the computer to search one that has the data in it.  The search result is blanc.   In the registry is also nothing to find.  In the address book of outlook is the wrong address not to find.  Also is there no email left with the wrong address in it.  On whole the computer I can’t find that stupid address, but every time he starts to type the address of his friend, outlook shows two addresses.  The write one, and the annoying wrong one.  We wonna get writ of it!!!!!  What can we do?  All help welcome.

Thanks in advance.

PS sorry for my poor English.

That is the problem.  I don't know.  My friend installed Norton Anti-virus and scanned the whole harddisk.  It found and removed with succes three virusses.  But when he told me a few weeks later of his problem (the annoying mailaddress) and I get a look at the computer, the logfiles of norton where already deleted.  My friend also did not know the exact names of the virusses.  The only thing he knows is that it all where worms.
We hoped to replace a file from outlook with a default one so that outlook started from scratch with starting to built a new checklist of used email addresses.  The problem is that we don't know which file.
