Web Form Problem.

Hi,
I am starting to learn C#. Just after installing VS.net and IIS I tried to create a Web Form. I included a label(server control) and changed its text property to "TextStatic1" and written code in Page_Start to set the label's text to "TextDynamic2". When I executed the project it is showing "TextStatic1". Then I tried to include other server controls such as Textbox and Button but they are not at all visible when project is executed. I tried the same process(creating and running project) in other systems and it is running fine. When I access the project in other system from my system , it is running fine. But if I include the same web form into the project in my system , same problem persists. Reinstalling the IIS didn't have any effect. Any suggestions.....?
Thank You.

Hi

Open a command prompt and type the following in:

cd %systemroot%\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v1.0.3705

if that fails type this:

cd %systemroot%\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v1.0.2914

and enter.

Then type:

aspnet_regiis -i

and enter.

That should fix the problem.

Cheers

Hi.

if IIS was installed after VS.NET was installed.
please unistall VS.NET, then Install it,
and check Web Development item when installing it.
NOTE: IIS must be install before VS.NET.

Hi

You don't need to uninstall IIS, you can just run aspnet_regiis.exe, it does the same job.
