How do I enable an dhcp client on one of my interfaces?

You need to create two empty files, /etc/hostname.<interface> and /etc/dhcp.<interface>, where <interface> is the name of the network interface which should be configured via dhcp.

Example:
touch /etc/hostname.elxl0
touch /etc/dhcp.elxl0
0
