no internet account setup through XP?
When I try and setup a new internet connection XP gives me error:711 - so then I try starting the Service "Remote Access Command Manager" manually, then I'm given there error:5 access denied. Could there be a problem with my "svchost"? There is no problem with my modem. It dials out fine with HyperTerminal.

this does not help me, and i have the exact same prob. Tho i did not restore anything. ICS does not work, will not active it's self on boot.
