search in lotus notes

We recently started using lotus notes in place of Outlook.  I am used to doing searches for words in the subject and body of the email!!  I can't find any place to do a search.  For example, I want to look at all emails that have "upgrade" as part of the subject or in the body of the email.  Is it possible with Notes?

In the menu: View > Show search bar.
You may notice a red dot, "not indexed" (otherwise it's green). In that case: click "more" (right) where you'll find a button "Create index".
After doing so you'll be able to find any word in any message!

You can find texts in the subject as well as body of mails by going to edit /find next  and typing in the word that you want to search.
Hope this helps
