Machine keeps restarting!

I recently had to install a new motherboard, now whenever I try to use any software i.e. games my machine continually restarts, sometimes straight away other times after a few minutes. If I don't use any games and use the internet it is fine. I've downloaded the latest drivers for my graphics card but it still occurs.
Any help would be appreciated.

My system is:

AMD Athlon MMX 3DNow 1400 mhz
Nvidia Geforce3 Ti 200
516 MB Memory
Windows 2000 Pro

Thank you

My guess is that some of the games controller functions are incorrectly mapped so that instead of doing whatever you expect them to do they hardwire reset. So by the sounds of it you need the latest driver for your games controller.

The other possibility is one of conflicting resources between your games controller and some other piece of hardware - the keyboard perhaps?

What game is it?, coz there are certain games that are not friendly to win 2000 prof.Install win98SE for the games and win2000 pro,as a dual boot then use win98SE for the games.

It's every game from Tiger Woods 2003, Medal of Honour etc right through to text based games like Out of the Park 5 and Championship Manager. With all these games the only controller I am using is a Microsoft ball less mouse with a USB connection.
