Team Interface ( Aggregated Link feature )

What linux kernel or version supports for TEAM Interface ? I want to use this feature with the IBM model and connect it with 3COM or CISCO switch ( doing aggregated link on these switches ).

What kind of NICs do you have on the IBM ?
If those NICs are Intel, it's quite easy to team them. Also, what distribution are you using ?
