Is there any documentation for simple database connection and operations for Struts?

Hi,
I am a beginner for developing applications with Struts. I have read a lot of documents for MVC architecture. I want to write a simple application that connects an Oracle  database, and perform basic database operations i.e insert-delete-update-display etc.  I try to find examples but they are so complex. Is there any page or tutorial explains this step by step ?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This one will also help you: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/jdbc/ . Just substitute the drivers in the examples with the Oracle drivers you have.

I read them but they do not show how to configure struts-config.xml,web.xml and how to write Controller and Model part of application, how to handle data and write Java code and Jsp's..

Yes they only show how to connect and query the database. Not sure if this is what you want. If can get the connection right then you will be able to figure out the rest.
