Unable to run .net PETSHOP blueprint application

We have downloaded Petshop blueprint applicationa and all necessary softwares (like IIS, Visual Studio .NET). We have  installed and ran the petshop.msi (downloaded installer). When We opened the URL as per the instruction http://localhost/MSPetShop We were  able to view only partial content of the homepage. We are not sure of .aspx pages running, Actually first page or homepage of the Petshop opens but only partially. If you have run the petshop then you must be knowing about the lizard image on the top-left corner. For us only lower part of the image is visible.
When we click on the fish or any other pet link we just get the Page with only Product ID and Name labels dispayed. Not the data from the database(database with all the data is present in SQL server).

try creating your own project and running that to make sure your setup/configuration is good ... if not repair it and then try the app

html>
<body bgcolor="yellow">
<center>
<h2>Hello World!</h2>
<p><%Response.Write(now())%></p>
</center>
</body>
</html>

When I run this, I can see only " HelloWorld" printed on the browser.The part <p><%Response.Write(now())%></p> is not working..Please help me in this regard.

but the bigger issue seems that IIS is not install/configured correctly.  Did you install IIS BEFORE the .NET Framework? ... IIS must be installed BEFORE the Framework for the .NET Experience to work right...
