I have a VB.NET application that generates an excel sheet and puts a macro button in the excel application that is generated. The data on the excel sheet is manipulated by the user. Once the data is updated (mainpulated) the user clicks the macro button that was generated by the VB.NET app. This button / macro needs to call another VB.NET app that updates the changed data on the Excel sheet to the Database. I am able to generate the excel macro button but do not know how to execute the VB.NET app from this button / macro. Does anyone have any code or alternate method to accomplish this.<br />

Excel macro needs to run a VB.NET application

Visual Basic is Microsoft’s event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) for its Component Object Model (COM) programming model. It is relatively easy to learn and use because of its graphical development features and BASIC heritage. It has been replaced with VB.NET, and is very similar to VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), the programming language for the Microsoft Office product line.
