How to create an Access DB on Linux with Perl

I need to grab selective information from a MySQL db and create an Access db for users to download - all running on Linux.

Can I do this with DBI - any ideas?

To run the Access DB you need the Jet SQL engine, which does not directly run on Linux.  You can perhaps get an emulator for win32 behaviour, but the core Access DB functionality simply does not work on Linux with or without DBI.

In addition, DBI doesn't *create* Access databases, but seems to only access a blank one according to recent postings on the DBI users list (dbi-users@perl.org).
