Ending processes in task manager problem

I am working on a program at the moment that contains many loops and sometimes I accidently write an infinite loop - my problem is that when I go to end that process on the Task Manager it says I don't have privilges, yet I am the administrator of the machine.....????

Hi Pete,

Did you run the task by scheduling it using AT?

Either way, there is an easy way to get around this:
AT 13:00 /interactive taskmgr

Schedule that for a minute or two ahead of NOW.

When the Task Manager appears, it will be running in the context of the Local System user, and you should be able to kill anything your heart desires.

Don't kill system processes. Your system will crash.
