How come I am getting 2 vertical scrollbars with Netscape 7 - IE and Netscape 4.x work fine:

http://www.printlines.com/1000_hom.shtml

I am not sure if this is a css or javascript (or shtml-extension) issue otherwise I would post some code (you'll just have to view the source...).

TIA,

body{
     overflow:auto;
}

This is in your http://www.printlines.com/css/hom_ns7.css

style sheet.

Try taking it out and not using it at all.

And let me know if it works

I just copy/paste your source and and added your style sheet in there to, tested it in NS7 and i had 2 vertical scrollbars. Thn i took the body{overflow: auto;} out and it worked fine.

Thanks jaysolomon,

As much as I want to say "yeah, it's solved" - it did not fix the problem :-(

When you did the test, did you have an ".shtml" extension?

Take out body{overflow: auto;}
out of all of your Netscape style sheets

try this

http://48freight.com/test.shtml

this is your site i copy/pasted.

i didn`t link the images to your domain, so disregard the unloaded images, since this is just for testing.

view this in NS7 and view the source i copyed from your css style sheets

Thanks jaysolomon,

Netscape 7 must have been looking into another stylesheet - I will have to have a closer look at the browser detection script.

Yes, i think your browser detection was loading one or the other style sheets, or it was loading both.

Thanks for the "A" If you need anymore help feel free to post a question or email me jaysolomon@pclnet.net
