Unable to use Send to function in Office XP with R6

In the Lotus Notes user preferences I have selected Enable Office 97 SendTo to Notes but when in Word, I am unable to use the send to button as it is greyed out.

Does anyone know how to get this functionality working for versions later than Office 97??

control panel.  internet settings, programs.  set email to Lotus Notes.

If its not there, reinstall the notes client (your settings won't be lost)

My Email program was set to Lotus Notes and I did already  reinstall the Notes client previously to posting.

ok, then next step would be to re-install office, including exchange (even though you don't use it, the option for that function is installed with exchange).

It was a bug in Windows XP, I have added the following entry into the Win.ini file using the Sysedit utility, under the Mail heading. Some lines may exist, but all are needed for this feature.

[Mail] MAPI=1
CMC=1
CMCDLLNAME=mapi.dll
CMCDLLNAME32=mapi32.dll
MAPIX=1
MAPIXVER=1.0.0.1
OLEMessaging=1
