hi experts,

i'm building a web application. i need to auto number my field called cItemID.
i've placed this formula in the computed field.

@If(@DbColumn("":"NoCache";"":"";"Numberlist";1)="";1;
@Subset(@DbColumn("":"NoCache";"":"";"Numberlist";1);1)+1)

Numberlist is a separate view with one column, cItemID; sorted in descending order.

there is an internal server error. what could have gone wrong? please correct me. thx!

Try this:

temp := @DbColumn("":"NoCache"; "":""; "Numberlist"; 1);
@If(@IsError(temp); 1; @Subset(temp; 1) + 1)

Regards,

Scott
