Default View ID

In the database that my company uses there is a coded feature that sends emails to various depts when there is a status change on a particular document. Status A needs to be looked at by production, Status B by sales etc. When the status changes (after certain fields are filled in) an email is generated to inform the next dept that the form is ready for their attention.
The problem - The email contains a doclink for easy access to the form
( Call body.appenddoclink(doc, "Click here") ) that for some reason, beginning a few days ago, has started to generate errors. Whenever the code gets to this line the user gets an error message reading

"Couldnt get default view Id for database (Folder\DBname.nsf)"

and then the code terminates at this line.
If i comment the line out, the rest of the code works fine.

Can anyone tell me what is causing the problem and what i need to do to fix it please.

Thanks.

Look at Design list of the views.
One of the views has to have the blue arrow marking that particular view as the Default view (only ONE dark blue arrow can mark one view).

If you have none of the views as default, then open one of the views and choose in the View properties dialog this view as the default view.

Good luck,
