Thats a general win2000 task. This will happen if the user has no access to office components, but office installed. win2000 tries to make an office account for that user. Solution is to allow all users to work with office on that machine, or remove the office references (excel, word ecc) from your project if not needed.

When you go to run my VB 6.0 app on W2K w/ Terminal Services you get a message &quot;Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Office 2000 SR-1 Premium&quot; and the gas gauge goes back and forth and this does this for quite some time before the main screen apears.
