Yes I do.  However, I do believe having both integrated NICS was also an issue.  As you point out you have a load issue and needed two NICS.  The two you were using may have caused some problems not related (DNS issues.)  I believe this has been your issue from day one, and as I said it is a beauty.  No need for the points, but thanks.  Lets make sure you get this resolved.  Keep us appraised of your progress.

Ok, for these points, I have a question about DNS. I have tried to add a new zone for intranet use only. can give reasons if you need them but if not here is the problem. I added a new zone to one of my 3 DNS servers earlier this week, then set the other two as secondary zones. everything went fine. tried to do it again last night for another new zone and when I tried to transfer the zone as a secondary to the other two it copied the zone but when I looked at the zone it displayed an error. won't copy. Tried to put the primary on a different server and do it again, no luck. :(

Do you have the ability to restart the DNS service on these servers?  Let me know if you have alreday done that.

All you ned to do is restart the DNS service, go to DNS MMC and right click the server - all tasks - restart.  This should reload the zones and catch the increased value on the flags set when you added the zone.

That's why they call it NTRB (NT reboot)  Now that we have Win2k it's not as bad, we just have to retstart services.  Should we call it NTRS?  Glad your DNS is operational, Thanks!  Thanks for the grade of A as well.
