Thanks, but i have been receiving points since then already. Maybe there is something is wrong with the system, or is this the way the system runs?

Hi gotenks, I think I know what's happening :-)

You get 5 Question points per day for every day you are active. This is the number that you see going up.

Expert points are different. You get them for answering questions, but they can't be used as Question points. They are just used to keep track of your status as an Expert, e.g. for the Top 15 list.

You can see how many of each type of points you have in your profile, by clicking on your login name. (Other people can see how many Expert points you have, but only you can see how many Question points you have)

for more information.

Note that it doesn't cost the Questioner any more to give you an "A" grade :-)  Shr has used 20 points to ask this question. If s/he gives you a "A" grade, you will have 80 Expert points, but it still only costs Shr 20 points.

Let me know if it's still not clear.
