text in body and .bmp as attachment?

ok so I got how to method="post" action="mailto:whoever@whereever.com" enctype="multipart/form-data" to email the text from the field in the form and that works great but as soon as I add a file to the form for upload I get no text in the body of the email and a whatever.att attachment?

What I am after is to allow people to fill out a questionare and upload any screenshots so that I can tell em what's wrong with their servers/databases....

So the question is how do I get the text fields from the form into the body of the message and the file saved as an attachment with the same dern extension that is started with IE .bmp?

mail:email@address as a form action doesn't work 2 times out of 5[1]:

* http://www.isolani.co.uk/newbie/mailto.html

How to send form data:

* http://www.allmyfaqs.com/faq.pl?Email_form_data

How to hadle form uploads:

* http://www.cs.tut.fi/~jkorpela/forms/file.html

Formailer with upload/attachment capability:

* http://www.icthus.net/CGI-City/scripts_mailafile.shtml

[1]OK, that's a guess, but the failure rate for mailto is HUGE.
