Unable to Open Other User's Folders

This is pertaining to Exchange 2000.  I recently created two new servers and spread my users out across them.  When I did this users can no longer access other users calendars.  For example user1 is mail1 and user2 is on mail2.  User1 needs user2's calendar.  When attempting to open these folders I get "Unable to display the folder.  The Calendar folder could not be found."

Any ideas?

There are a lot of things that can cause a problem like this. First, let's try the simple stuff.

-Apply permissions (for the person doing the viewing) on both the Mailbox and the Calendar that is being shared out.

-At the mailbox sharing its Calendar, remove the remote users permissions, and re-add them. In some scenarios (for example, if you migrated users from an old Domain into a new one), you are assigning permissions to an old account that may not be properly referenced (even though SID history may have been maintained). Or, it may be looking to the other mail server for their mailbox still.

-Make sure you are using File...Open...Other users' folder in Outlook (as opposed to selecting the link to a ppreviously opened folder). The saved link will reference its old location.
