MS Office Word Work Files on networked home visible?

Hello My config is Xserver 10.2.3 with Workgroup Manager Accounts from a networked volume on the same server.
Client also on 10.2.3 with MS Office at v 10.1.2 (eventhough it still shows up as Service Release 1)

One of my clients has unexplainably begun to show the Word Work File_Dx everywhere, which should be invisible. I came to know of it when one of these files began crashing Word upon save. I was able to save this file, a quite long table, by cutting/pasting to a new document. But when I try to trash the original problem file and it's related temp file I get a file in use error.

Q1- What has caused this visibility behavior and how can I revert it?
Q2- I am figuring that maybe if I restart my server the files would either disappear or again be trashable. Are there other posible (even Theoretical) solutions?

Thanks for any help.

First, update to 10.2.4 for both server and client. Its a free update and there's no reason not to.

Try deleting the file using the terminal. Use sudo to login as root and rm <filename> from its directory.

Heres two big reasons
Date Bug, and first attempt to run 4D Clients did not work I had to revert 3 stations to 10.2.3 because of this.

I'll try your second sugestion tomorrow, Thanks
Date problem is only an issue if youre not using a network time server. The 4D clients were probably experiencing a problem because of something other than 10.2.4. So far i havent seen any bug/incompatibility reports for anything relating to 4D.
