Display collection name in each search result

I have created a search that can go over three different collections. I would like to display in the search results the collection that the result is from.

e.g. the search runs over the internet, intranet, and news items. I would like to be able to display in the result like this:

1. Seniors Tourism (100%)
We will be looking to the seniors market in general, and Seniors Card in particular, to help us raise the profile and performance of Australian tourism product.
(Internet site)

2. Coordinator's Kit (100%)
These guidelines specify the way in which the corporate graphic can be used in conjunction within the website.
(intranet site)

3.  Seniors Invited to Fight Fraud (09-May-2001) (77%)
Toowoomba Seniors Invited to Fight Fraud
(news item)

Right now I have got it to work by looking at the resulting URL, e.g. for news items I look to see if the URL contains '/news/', but is there a better way to do this?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You could put the collection name in the custom1 or custom2 field of the index. custom1 and custom2 are returned as query columns from a cfsearch.
