Error "Could not find installable ISAM" when executing code in VB6 programming environment
This VB6 code has been working fine, using Access2000 and jet controls. I wanted to modify, so loaded VB6 pro, database, source code and recommended patches mdac_typ.exe (ver 2.61) and jet40sp6_9xNT.exe on two different machines (Win98 single and Win2000 network). When I attempt to execute the source code in VB6, get "installable ISAM" whenever data1.refresh. (data1 is an intrinsic control)I have seen MS Knowledgebase article 209805, but I do not understand why jet was not properly registered.

Seems you are using DAO not ADO to work with Access and VB, if that right, then you need to install the DAO into the client, the DAO droped from some of MDAC, i'm not sure if Mdac 2.6 contian the drivers or not, but if you are using ADO, than i'm wrong
