Package javax.servlet does not exist error while import javax.servlet.*;

I want to development in java servlets.
So, i write import javax.servlet.*; line in my code.
When i compile the file error Package javax.servlet does not exist occure.
what is the solution.

You need to put j2ee.jar in your CLASSPATH.

 If he is not using any enterprise stuff then he probably does not have the j2ee.jar file. pak_slim can you do a search for servlet.jar file and let us know where it is? Then we can instruct you how to put this in your classpath.

i search servlet.jar but not found. So, i add jsdk.jar in classpath and solved the problem.
