Hi Experts,

I guess you can help me out in this : I have 5 ActiveX components and a client. Client fires an event which all the 5 components have to listen. But before firing the event my client knows which component should process this event. How do i fire event to the specific component as all 5 components can process the event? I cannot fire seperate event for seperate component.

In this scenario you should ideally call a method of the ActiveX component - i.e. you know the target component.
Alternatively, you can add a parameter to the event (assuming you're coding the controls), for example an ID parameter and only the control with the corresponding ID will respond.  However the first, direct invocation, scenario is more efficient as the other controls will not have to handle an event that is not meant for them.

Hope this helps,
