I am doing the research of Network Simulation. The topics as follows:

1.Using one or a few computers to simulate a network (local area network or business-network )( NT-network or UNIX-network ). Effects: Using scanning tools can scan a network, and it has certain communication fluxes. From its appearance, it looks exactly the same as the real network.
2.Operating system simulator: The purpose of simulating another one or more operating systems from one computer is to simulate the operating systems which have the characteristic function, and then make them have the same net communication characters as the target operating system, in order to confuse the hackers.

Could any experts tell me where I can find the related Paper, Product, or Source Code.It will be very helpful.............Many thanks!
