how to access the Linux server from windows 2000 professional node? .

hi experts,
     i would like to know how to resolve the following problem.?
     In lan( 40 system are connected) through two servers, one is Novel netware and another one is Linux server,all nodes are windows 98.i 'm accessing the linux through any nodes,now i have changed the server Novell netware to Windows 2000 server and all nodes into windows 2000 professional, now i'm in struggle to access the linux from Node.it's urgent Plz..

Ganesh,

Are you saying that before the Novell server provided the access point for the 98 clients to the linux server? Do you want the upgraded Window2000 client just to acess the volumes on the linux server? If so you want to use Samba for linux that is allow windows clients access. But if you want the windows clients to login and open xterm sessions you will need have something like Exceed to connect.
