I am using VB6.  I have created a program that stores an Internet URL address in a textbox for the customer.  I am trying to make it so that when a user double-clicks on the URL address, they logon onto the Internet and go to the specific URL.

Any examples would be appreciated.

Thanks.

To autoconnect to internet:
http://www.developersdomain.com/vb/codesnippets/internet.htm

after that:

Private Declare Function ShellExecute Lib "shell32.dll" Alias "ShellExecuteA" (ByVal hwnd As Long, ByVal lpOperation As String, ByVal lpFile As String, ByVal lpParameters As String, ByVal lpDirectory As String, ByVal nShowCmd As Long) As Long

dim ret as long
ret=shellexecute(0,"open","your_url_goes_here",vbnullstring,vbnullstring,vbnormal)
