GPF in module KRNL386.exe@0001:4FEC
OK, here's the problem. Win98 clean install did not work first time, second time, third time, etc... Reformatted 4gb HD. Installed dos6.22 & Win3.11 thinking I could then use my Win98 upgrade CD rather than the <clean> Win98 CD since it didn't work all these times. Everything installed fine, except now only have fat16 instead of fat 32. Reformatted HD using OEM98 boot disk. Still only have fat16. Go back to CD ROM after booting w/generic OEM boot disk w/new ver W98 on CD. Starts running, performs diagnostics, etc, then quits w/above GPF in module KRNL386.exe at 0001:4FEC. What I would like to do is get back to original fat32 and do a clean install of W98. I will assume that since I only have fat16 after installing the old version of dos 6.22 and win3.11, that is why my 4gb HD, is now only 2.?gb. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Solved the problem....doh! In my breif return to MS-DOS forgot almost everything....When you gave me the answer it was like bong!!!!
