modulo (been a long time since I've heard that term),

Go to Western Digital's web site and get their hard drive utility. This utility should be able to run off a floppy. Boot off the floppy and run the utility.

You can get the utility fom here:


These utilities are individual components that make up the Data Lifeguard Tools Ver. 10. They may be downloaded and extracted on systems running Windows 98, 2000, ME, and XP. However, the files contained in the zip files must be extracted and copied to a bootable floppy for use.
