W2000/WNT NTbackup question

We have recently migrated from WNT to W2000, and as you can suppose we have many and many BKP copies made with the WNT version of the NTBackUp program. Now, I must recover some files from one of those tapes using the W2000 version of the NTBackUp, but I see no way to catalog the tape those files are in.

I know that W2000-NTbackup preserves a register of all the tapes-copies made with it, since the WNT-NTbackup used to catalog each tape that was entered in the tape-drive. Anyway, when inserting one of those tapes, it is supposed to move the tape to the IMPORT Media Pool, and from that one it can be moved to the correct Media Type pool, but in our case it moves all the tapes backed up with WNT to the "Unrecognized"

Any idea on how to recover files from those previous version tapes??

Thanks
