Hello,

You know that square picture next to your logon when you sign on or come back from stand by in XP?  Well, mine doesn't change.  Mine is stuck on the chess picture.  If I go to Control Panel > User accounts, my account shows the correct picture that I chose, but windows doesn't make show it on the logon screens.  No matter what I do, it's stuck on the chess picture.  I think it may have something to do with permissions, because I modified some before this started happening, but am not sure.  If you know the solution, please let me know.

Thanks,
Scott

First check to see if you have administrator acess on your copmuter. By looking under your picture in the user acounts menu it should. If it isn't change it.
Otherwise just create a new acount and delete the old one you'll only lose  Desktop icons and such.
I don't see what permissions could have to do with it though? I could easily be wrong though.
