stdafx.h is used to store headers for the precompiled headers the compiler should use. As Microsoft puts it, "include file for standard system include files, or project specific include files that are used frequently but are changed infrequently." Put include files in here that you won't be changing, so that the compiler won't have to recompile them every time you make a change to your program.
