Crystal Rerports 8 vs 8.5 in VB app

I'm supposed to take over maintenance on a VB app that uses Crystal Reports for reporting. I've been using ActiveReports by Data Dynamics in my apps so I'm not familiar with CR. It appears that the developer (an outside contractor) used CR 8.0, but we have CR 8.5 in our organization. There's a line:

Private CryApp As CRPEAuto.Application

and some others with similar declaration, that's causing me trouble. The reference window shows that "Crystal Report 8 Engine Object Library" is "Missing" but I don't know what to replace it with, or how to change the code (as above) to declare for the equivalent CR 8.5 reference.

Have you done a full install of CR.  The CRPE files may not install by default.

I'll check into it in the morning.  I don't hae CR8.5 here.

I've posted a request in the Common area to delete this question. Just going to find the appropriate version and install that.
