Trying to connect via USB cradle, my iPAQ 5450 and Win XP Pro.

Help !!!!   Trying to connect via USB cradle, my iPAQ 5450 and Win XP Pro.

Active Syn is installed V3.5 ( I tried 3.6) and it comes with on the Ipaq saying it cant connect some Error 8..

Ive checked the settings to say USB..

Can anyone help ??? Please ????

Hope this helps. Im not too familiar with Ipaq but connection issues usually a simple settings issue are the sync drivers are not being detected properly. This should help clear up the matter.

Sorry I just read my last post and I can hardly make sense of what I wrote. I meant to say that, Connection problems are usually related to simple settings that have not been set correctly however with more stubborn cases sometimes the driver that runs the sync has not been detected properly. This solution from Compaq should help allot.

on ipaq check that it syncs with usb activesync.
you can find these settings in
start>programs>activesync.
click options
from the dropdownbox selsect usb activesync
also use AS 3.6
