Execute a MSDOS-Program

Hi,
I'd like to do the following:
Execute the file C:\\Windows\\System32\\auto.exe (it's a msdos program) with some Parameters, wait till the execution of my auto.exe
finished and then save the returnvalue (0 or 1 or 2) in an integer.
While executing the file I want to hide the MSDOS-Box.

Can sb tell me how to do this?
