XP RAS

Does RAS need enabled on a Windows XP machine in order for it to establish a VPN connection?  Thanks guys!

Yes it does, the RAS wizard is what you use to configure the connection.

Well at least if you are using the Micorosft client.  If you are using a seperate firewall client than no or maybe dependiong on the fiorewlal and client software, some clients take advantage of the windows software and some do not, the ones that do will usually tell you if they are using it.
