SQL ODBC Driver connecting Crystal Reports 8.5 to a Baan Database
Hi,
When connecting Crystal 8.5 Report designer to the SQL Baan database, text tables are returned to the crystal report in hexadcimal format. I would like to be able to covert this data to ASCII text, Baan must convert this data as this is the fromat that the data is shown in the Baan application.
At a previous client they were able to use the formula HexToText in the Crystal formula editor, in the format Hextotext {filename}. This then converted the text to ASCII format. I have contacted crystal and they have said this is not Crystal functionality. The only way to do this would be to create a User Defined Function in VB.
Does anyone know how this UDF.dll is created?
