Is there a software in which I'm able to make a 192kps song into say a 96kps file song? I want to do this so that i can fit more songs on my RIO mp3 player. I know musicmatch for PC lets you do that. Just wondering if MAC had an equivalent to it.

Sure, iTunes. In your itunes window select a bunch of MP3s. Then Advanced>Convert Selection To MP3. You can customize the bitrates etc in your preferences before doing the conversion.
