I think this will become a problem becorse OfficePartner will not become opensourse and this for Copyright reason

but why do you not take the Office componnents from your Delphi palette ?

there ara not to manny diferences

If you uses Delphi profesional or Enterpisse take a look to the tab compnnent name servers (componnent WordApplication) all those componnents are the same off the OfficePartner suite

ore you can also use a Ole container for this purpose

Im using Delphi6 Pro but the problem I currently have is that the app I need to develop requires opening word docs within the form in 2 states (Editable : View toolbars) Read Only (No Tool Bars).

I am having very little joy due to the restrictions within OLEContainer and hense need to look at using the TWordApplication objects but I cannot find a way of opening these within the constraints of a parent object such as a panel.

Its a ball-ache !

My other question currently explains my predicament and is obviously for a better value of points,
