pls help me in displaying the data in my data report

my problem on my program about data report is, the data report doesn't change its data displayed eventhough i change already the command text value of the command object. what is the result of the first query would still be the same data displayed in my second and succeeding query using the same command object, eventhough i change my SQL statement to extract another record.

let us say my table is like this (TABLE NAME IS STUDENTS)
id    lastname    firstname    age
===============================
100   gallera       reden        22
200   sullaga       adel         26
300   domingo       sheila       22

First Query : SELECT * FROM STUDENTS WHERE ID=100
Data Report Output is (displaying the all data except [id]):

    gallera, reden     22

Second Query : SELECT * FROM STUDENTS WHERE ID=200
Data Report Output is (displaying the all data except [id]):

    gallera, reden     22

the same data will appear in my data report...

i had use the refresh method of the data report but nothing happen.... :(

what should i do? please help me...

can i get your email add for me to send my program to you so that you can see the real score of my program...please

my add is rdg577@yahoo.com

thank you so much....

what i want in my program is to preview/display the data of the record that i only selected....

hi,

The prob. seems to be with Recordset object not getting refreshed, when you had change the Command object.
So after changing the CommandText property of Command object , call the execute method of command object which will execute the query in CommandText property. for eg :
"command1.execute".

Let us know of the updates.
Bye.
