try to insert the module for the soundcard

i have the same soundcard myself

type this on the commandline: /sbin/modprobe cmpci

Now your soundcard has to be working again :)

Good luck,

it is possible that you have an IRQ conflict. Try putting your soundcard on IRQ 7 or 5(if it is on 7 already).

The best way to see if your Sound card is compatible and works is by typeing in a terminal:

[Damo@linux ]# setup

this will bring up options of networking configiration and x windows configiration and soun card configiration

well I hope this helps

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.
