Are the escape sequences (hex value & printer command) differ based on manufacturer of the printer?

PCL was developed by Hewlett-Packard. (ie the printer command and the hex value that must be sent to the printer). I have got escape sequences for the HP printer. Like, where can i find the escape sequences (hex value and printer command) for the EPSON and CANON printer? Are the escape sequences for CANON and EPSON (ie.,hex value and printer command) differ or same as the Hewlett-Packard printer.

You haven't given model types here and on what operating systems and what type of PDLs they are.  Are they on a network or are they stand alone?  These are all contributing factors.  Here are some good links:

Canon and Epson escape sequences are different from each other and from PCL, which itself is very different from PostScript. Different printer models also support different sets of commands.

The sites given by Webwitch are a good start, but you really need to know which printer model. Here are a couple more sites:
