PCL was developed by Hewlett-Packard. (ie the printer command and the hex value that must be sent to the printer). I have got escape sequences for the HP printer. Like, where can i find the escape sequences (hex value and printer command) for the EPSON and CANON printer? Are the escape sequences for CANON and EPSON (ie.,hex value and printer command) differ or same as the Hewlett-Packard printer.

Canon and Epson escape sequences are different from each other and from PCL, which itself is very different from PostScript. Different printer models also support different sets of commands.
