how to get a xml parser working? (Can someone help me???)

i would like to know where i can find a parser to extract the contents of a xml or html page without the tags and saving the extracted information into a database.

Hi keeting,

I imagine you will need to write some code to interface with the XML parser.  Your only other question was in VB, so try the following tutorial on VB and XML - http://www.codeant.com/tutorials/vb/VBandXMLtutorial.html 
It gives you reading in the XML, and then just do some ADO to write to Access.

As for parsing HTML, unless you have rigorous specs on what the HTML structure will be ahead of time extracting data (i.e. meaningful data not just tag content) is near impossible.  If you however wish to only archive the content that is reasonable.
