Which version of samba can you use with AIX 4.3.3?  I have heard that you can use, 2.2.5.0 but there must be something newer?

Can this be used with AIX 4.3.3?  I am a little worried that where 2.2.8 is so new we won't want to put it on our systems as their be flaws with the software.
Is there a version in the middle?

Samba is pretty portable. I'm sure 2.2.8 will work on AIX 4.3.3. Plus earlier versions have serious security vulnerabilities.
