Oh, you didn't tell us, which operating system and version. Finding the specific bug/patch set notes requires this information.

That was really a incredible list of bugs nd thanx a ton. To be more specific, let me describe you the issue. We have developed a product to one of our client and while developing we have used Oracle 8.1.6, but the client has Oracle 8.0.6. So, I am trying to list of out the bugs of his version nd convince him to go for higher version. He has loaded it in an NT 4 Box.
So, is there any more list of bugs as I have mentioned the OS, version nd Oracle version too!

There are several reason to go to 8.1.6 (better is 8.1.7.4 or 9.2.0.X).
The first is the support issue, 8.0.X has no support.
Second, there are hundreds (if not a thousand+) of bug fixes (some I'm sure are undocumented as they were part of the 8i first release) between 8.0.6 and 8.1.6 (or above).
Third are the new features, which include better security, increased performance, and ease of use.
Fourth, the product you are developing is working on 8.1.6 and who knows if it will work on 8.0.6. They may run into problems later that you'll be unable to reproduce on 8.1.6. (You also need to look at upgrading your system.) If the product is important to him, he should want to be on the same level (or above) as where you developed it.

Bottom line is simple: If Oracle is important being at a recent level is important because it insures your BUSINESS is running on a healthy, stable, and productive version of Oracle.

Metalink has a bug look up facility. You supply the product, product version, hardware, operating system, etc. in the query. The reply is a list of every known bug.
2) Download/obtain the patch sets for 8.0.6.0 or at least the readme files. Inside these files will be a list of all fixed bugs.
