I want to set a specific IP address for an HPLJ4 at a remote location. I am certain I have done this before (non-DHCP) but am not finding anywhere to put the IPAddress.

Please advise.

I am writing this from memory, as I don't have a HP4 in front of me.
Take the printer off line and then press the menu button until you see the MIO menu. Go into it and item through it until you see tcp/ip. Make sure that the protocol is enabled and then configure it. Make sure that bootp is turned off (dhcp). Go through the tcp/ip menus to add your static ip address. Make sure to select enter after you make each setting change to put an asterisk next to the selection or it won't hold.

One more suggestion. Print out a test page when you are done to ensure that you have the correct IP address, subnet mask, etc... entered.
